Neither pilot nor museum ready to give up - Corning, NY - The Corning Leader
Jim Poel sits at the controls of the Albany Flyer, a replica built by the Glenn H. Curtiss Museum’s restoration shop, during the construction process. The plane crashed during a June test flight, and Poel is now recovering from his injuries at Rochester’s Strong Memorial Hospital.
